ROCK is the story of Simon Peter, told in true Roger Jones-style through familiar hymns set to brilliant new musical arrangements, brand new songs, drama, and dance.

The World Premiere in November last year kicked off the first of three nationwide tours over 12 months. Weston will be part of the final tour later this year.  

Roger will bring his team of musicians, dancers and soloists, including several from the local area, and Churches Together will provide the supporting choir for the Weston-super-Mare performance at The Playhouse Theatre on Sunday October 18, 2009.

We have a talented young choir leader, backing tracks and vocal parts on CDs, a rehearsal schedule starting after Easter, and bags of enthusiasm. All we need is YOU. If you can hold a tune and/or invite others along on the night, please be part of this wonderful opportunity not only to entertain but also to share the Good News that Jesus brought not just to first century Galilee but to 21st century Somerset as well.
