During the early part of 2008 the congregation at Clarence Park Baptist church have spent their Sunday Morning services remembering and celebrating the different ways in which the churches in our town are able to offer a message of HOPE to our community and our nation.
The services consisted of celebrating the hope offered through Street Pastors, through the opportunities that Christians have working in primary and secondary schools, through the town chaplains (CHAT), and through hospial chaplaincy. There was also time to reflect on the churhces ministry through the BUILD group for people with learning difficulties, Baptist World Aid, the free church residential housing, the Home mission fund of the Baptist Union of Great Britain and Parish Nursing ministries UK.
The sermon series also included a celebration at Easter of the gospel message which is of course a message of HOPE to our WORLD! |
